Peter Springett
Very unfortunately missed marking his birthday by a few days...
May 8 would have been former QPR Goalie, Peter Springett's 60th Birthday. Very sadly, he died in 1998.
Peter Springett, brother of former QPR and England goalie, Ron Springett, played for QPR in the early-to mid 1960s (including the 1966/67 Division 3 Championship team and the League Cup Final).
Peter Springett then was sold to Sheffield Wednesday with brother Ron Springett returning to QPR from Sheffield Wednesday as partial payment.
After retiring from football, Peter Springett became a policeman.
