The People November 2009 - Man City set for Moussa Sissoko £20m raid
- Manchester City are lining up a £20million raid for French midfielder Moussa Sissoko.
- And Eastlands boss Mark Hughes is ready to win the race for QPR wonderboy Raheem Sterling.
- Moneybags City have made Toulouse star Sissoko their leading target in the January transfer window and it is believed that super-agent Pini Zahavi is trying to engineer a transfer....
- City were impressed by Sterling, 14, when he made his international debut last week and are set to match QPR's £1m-plus asking price.
- He was sensational for England Under-16s, turning the game against Northern Ireland in the Victory Shield when he set up both goals in a 2-0 win.
- Boss Jim Magilton wants to play Sterling in his first team when he turns 15 next month - as People Sport revealed last week - but he could be gone even sooner because of the hype currently surrounding the player.
- City talent-spotters Brian Marwood and Brian Kidd watched in amazement and started work on teeing-up the deal after the match.
- Sterling looks unlikely to sign a contract being offered by QPR, and we can reveal Arsenal have also made an approach and would pay £500,000. Manchester United and Liverpool are both interested
