RESERVES WIN - QPR OFFICIAL SITE - IN RESERVE: PAT ON TARGET
- Patrick Agyemang capped a fine individual performance with a goal and an assist, as QPR Reserves ran out worthy 3-2 winners against Crawley in the Totesport.com Football Combination Central Division.
- Despite trailing twice, Agyemang's strike and further goals from Alessandro Pellicori - returning from a recent knee injury - and Antonio German sealed the win for Keith Ryan' side.
- It was honours even at the end of a lively first half.
- Indeed, the match was only two minutes old when the visitors opened the scoring from the penalty spot.
- Josh Parker was adjudged to have felled Charlie Ademeno in the box and Michael Malcolm stepped up to score from 12-yards.
- Undeterred, Rangers were on terms just before the half hour mark, when Agyemang - following neat build-up play involving Pellicori - turned his marker with ease before firing home.
- But disaster struck moments later, when Ed Harris sent Jefferson Louis tumbling to ground inside the penalty area and Malcolm again made no mistake from the spot.
- Remarkably, there was still time for a fourth goal just before the break.
- Following quick thinking from Gareth Ainsworth from a QPR free-kick, Pellicori and German exchanged passes before the former slotted home with aplomb when faced one-on-one with the Crawley custodian.
- Rangers' class told in the second period, as Agyemang broke free down the right and squared for German, who slammed the ball home to complete the comeback.
- QPR: McWeeny, Rose, Harris, Ehmer, Parker, Ainsworth (Sutherland 88), Ephraim, Alberti (Sterling 87), German, Agyemang, Pellicori (Bailey 68). Subs: Bewick, Bulmer. QPR

Mirror/Alan Nixon - Manchester City to swap pair of stars for QPR whizzkid Raheem Sterling 23:00 09/11/09
- Manchester City boss Mark Hughes is ready to let QPR have two players on loan - as part of a massive bid to land wonder kid Raheem Sterling.
- Hughes and his team are so desperate to get the 14-year-old boy genius that they have told Rangers they can have a couple of their fringe men plus £1 million to sign him now.
- Sterling has been earning rave reviews playing for the Rangers under-18 team and starred on his England under-16 debut last week in front of Brian Marwood and Brian Kidd.
- The young Londoner will not sign a long-term deal at Rangers and City want to buy him now in a record deal - and are making it more tempting with the offer of players.
- Rangers boss Jim Magilton does not want to lose Sterling but the chance of taking two City men would help his Championship promotion bid and their short-term aims.
- Magilton will watch City's second team in action shortly, with the mega-rich club keen to get their target ahead of Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.
- City are also boosted by news that Sterling would like to join them to continue his football education, although that would mean uprooting from London with his mum.

QPR Official Site - WILLIAMS: WHY I SIGNED
- New loan signing Tommy Williams believes he has joined a squad of players that are the envy of the rest of the Championship.
- Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk, Williams - who yesterday penned a loan deal until the first week of January - revealed the admiration he has for the group of players he will link up with for the first time at Harlington on Wednesday morning.
- "Without any doubt, it's one of the squads in the league that everyone envies," he said.
- "Seeing them first hand in September, even when they weren't necessarily in top form, you could see there's some real quality here.
- "There seems to be a real buzz about the place and knowing the Championship as I do, I don't think there's many teams that are looking forward to playing Queens Park Rangers at the moment.
- "People are really starting to stand up and take notice of what's going on here."
- Indeed, the Peterborough loanee believes the R's are destined for a decent season, adding: "There's a great chance of good things happening here this season.
- "The gaffer and John were keen to get me in. They like the way I play at full-back and they wanted further options at the back.
- "They were keen to bring me in for that reason and I couldn't be more delighted to be here.
- "My first aim is to break into the side, which will be tough, and then prove myself to the boss and the fans.
- "That's my aim and if I can do enough to seal a permanent move further down the line I'll be chuffed." QPR
