QPR Official Site - EXCLUSIVE: CONNOLLY PENS EXTENSION
- Defender Matt Connolly has signed a two-year extension to his contract, keeping him at the Club until the summer of 2013.
- The 22 year-old joined QPR from Arsenal in January 2008 and his assured performances at the back have turned him into a hugely popular figure in W12.
- Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk after signing his extension at Loftus Road, Connolly said: "I'm really pleased to commit my future to the Club, and am glad that it's all sorted out before the season starts.
- "I still had a year to run on my contract, so it wasn't really playing on my mind but it's always good to have your future sorted out nice and early.
- "We've got an excellent Manager in place who's going to be here for a few years and the Club is really settled.
- "My target for this season is to stay injury-free, play as many games as I can and show everyone what I can do.
- "I've been really impressed by Neil Warnock since he came in. He's got a proven track record, a lot of experience and I like the way he manages. I am delighted to be a part of it."
- R's Manager Warnock added: "This is another important step in getting my squad together and settled for the next couple of years.
- "Matt is one of the most exciting young footballers around and I am expecting big things from him in the next 12 months.
- "This is a big season for him." QPR

QPR Official Site - R’S UNVEIL INTERACTIVE SEATING SYSTEM
Posted on: Mon 12 Jul 2010

As one of the first for Championship Clubs, we are delighted to announce details of a new interactive seating system, designed by Ticketmaster.

The new online eticketing system allows supporters to purchase a specific block, row and seat, as opposed to being allocated the 'best available' seat in a selected block.

What's more, supporters are also given additional information, including details such as uncovered seating and restricted view seating.

Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk, Box Office Manager Jenny Elliott said: "This is a new initiative introduced by the Club to enhance our on-line eticketing system.

"Last season we introduced ticketFast technology whereby supporters could select to 'Print at Home' and for this season I am delighted we are the first Club to offer this service.

"It's an excellent system which now allows our supporters the opportunity to view their chosen seat before completing the purchase."
