- Following speculation in today's press, we would like to confirm that stories linking Marcello Lippi with Queens Park Rangers Football Club are completely unfounded.
- The Board of Directors - including Bernie Ecclestone, Amit Bhatia and Flavio Briatore - are 100 per-cent behind Neil Warnock and will continue to be so in the future.

- QPR boss Neil Warnock has laughed off the threat Italian legend Marcello Lippi is waiting to steal his job should Rs win promotion to the Premiership.
- Former chairman Flavio Briatore dropped a bombshell this week when he reportedly claimed the man who won the 2006 World Cup for Italy is ‘a dream’ for the team topping the Championship by two points.
- Although Briatore has no official clout, he and Formula I pal Bernie Ecclestone are still the club’s major shareholders and are understood to be pumping around £700,000 a month into Loftus Road.
- "If we were to get into the Premier League, I have a dream: Marcello Lippi as coach," Briatore told Italian magazine Chi.
- But Warnock reckons he would walk into a job tomorrow should the fanciful notion become fact.
- "I take this with a pinch of salt if I’m honest," said Warnock. "Worried? My stock’s never been higher. And I get on well with Flavio when we chat once a week or so.
- "He has given me his views on the team but he understands I make the decisions – and he’s happy with that."

Daily Mail/Mel Henderson - Arsenal and QPR in talks over loan move for the Gunners' teenage midfielder Jay Emmanuel-Thomas- Championship leaders QPR want to reinforce their squad with the loan capture of Arsenal teenager Jay Emmanuel-Thomas.
- Manager Neil Warnock is in negotiations with counterpart Arsene Wenger to see if a deal can be struck for the 19-year-old midfielder.
- Agreement could even be reached in time for Emmanuel-Thomas to be included in Rangers' squad for Friday night's live-on-Sky clash at bottom club Bristol City.
- Warnock's men remain top of the table but have seen their lead eroded to just two points after a run of just one win and three goalless draws in their last four outings.
- The young Londoner was the Gunners' FA Youth Cup-winning captain in 2009 but has so far made just two senior appearances.

Metro - Neil Warnock: QPR's home form is not enough to reach Premier League
Neil Warnock admits Queens Park Rangers’ rock-solid home form will not be enough to sustain their Premier League promotion bid.
The Hoops have made Loftus Road a fortress this term – winning four and drawing two of their home games in the Championship they have yet to concede a single goal.
But they also remain unbeaten on their travels, with eye-catching 3-0 wins at Warnock’s beloved Sheffield United and Roy Keane’s Ipswich the pick of their four victories.
And the QPR boss, whose team are now two points clear at the top of the table following Tuesday’s 0-0 draw at Swansea, is adamant there is no complacency in West London.
‘We have an excellent home record, it’s great not to have conceded at Loftus Road so far but if anything we’ve been better away,’ he said.
‘But the lads don’t need me to help them keep their feet on the ground, they are not daft and they’re a good bunch.’ Tuesday’s stalemate followed last Saturday’s goalless draw at home to Norwich while Millwall, the only other visiting side to leave Loftus Road with a point this season, also held Rangers 0-0 last month.
Playmaker Akos Buzsaky had to come off against the Canaries with a knee problem, and with Alejandro Faurlin only recently available after a hamstring injury, Warnock believes injuries to his creative players help explain his team’s failure to score in three of their last four games.
There was better news for him on Tuesday as a scan revealed Hungary international Buzsaky had sustained no serious damage and will soon return to training, while Faurlin played 90 minutes against Swansea.
Warnock re-signed Gavin Mahon on a month’s contract this week to widen his midfield options but will want Buzsaky, Faurlin and Adel Taarabt operating alongside each other again.
‘We were a bit unlucky to lose Akos and we could not play Ali [Faurlin], so we lost a lot of creativity in midfield on Saturday,’ said Warnock.
‘Akos is a big loss, he’s done extremely well. We had enough opportunities to score anyway, though, and should have done against Norwich.’
The Hoops manager added the likes of top scorer Jamie Mackie and former Crystal Palace favourites Shaun Derry and Clint Hill to his squad over the summer, and the trio have proved key additions.
They are just three of a number of crucial signings the 61-year-old has made since taking charge in March, although he has had to do without forwards Rob Hulse and Tommy Smith for most of the season.
‘The squad is a lot better now,’ he added. ‘We have Rob stepping up his training this week after injury.
‘Tommy has not been able to start a game and there are one or two others to come back. We may even have a full squad this weekend.’
And will he add more new faces in January? It appears he will get funds to back up his title bid.
Warnock added: ‘The board have been great, they’ve really backed me. I have to get to Christmas and see where we are then, and what the situation is [regarding spending].’
